20 Questions Tag!

Hey style choicers! I've been doing posts less often, and I promise you that'll change! The only problem is, I'm so busy at the moment! If you don't already know, I do dancing, singing, and acting, along with a social life and my everyday education, and considering the fact that I don't get payed for this blog, it's pretty difficult to fit in! I will try to start fitting it in more often, but I have a lot of commitments. I promise you though guys, I will start writing at least twice a week. Please leave me a comment or send me an email with what kind of blog posts you'd like to start seeing. I obviously don't want to write about things that you don't want to see, so just let me know ☺

So for this blog post, I wanted to do a fun and more personal post, so I wanted to do one of the youtube tags, they're so fun to be honest! I'm going to be doing the 20 Questions Tag!

1.Things you cannot leave the house without:
My phone
My watch
My keys
My bus pass

2. Favourite brand of makeup:
17 (They have the best concealer!)

3. Favourite flowers:
Hibiscus, especially pink ones, in fact, my room theme is Hawaii, so it's covered with hibiscus decorations :-)

4. Favourite clothing stores:
New Look, Hollister, Forever21, H&M, Republic, Top Shop, River Island, Dorothy Perkins and Miss Selfridge. Do you think my list is a little bit too short?

5. Favourite perfume:
DKNY Be Delicious

6. Heels or flats?
Depends on where I'm going and the height of the heel. Lately though, I've been loving cute flats, like loafers, pointed-toe ballet flats, and my good old chucks!

7. Do you get good grades?
I'd say my grades are about average, maybe a little bit above average, depending on the subject.

8. Favourite colours?
My all time favourite colour is deffinately pink. It has been since I was little! I'd say my top three at the moment though is- Coral, mint, neon pink (If I could pick one more I'd say yellow!)

9. Do you drink energy drinks?
Nope. Caffiene makes me go mental. 'Nuff said.

10. Do you drink juice?
I tend to drink squash. I prefer juice, but I can't drink it fast enough before it goes out of date.

11. Do you like swimming?
I like going to pools, but I don't tend to do any actual swimming. I tend to just float around and talk to my friends when I'm in a pool. I don't even know if I can swim, I was never very good at it haha.

12. Do you eat fries with a fork?
That's a crime. Never.

13. Whats your favourite moisturizer?
Well I'm still on the hunt for a moisturizer that suits my skin type. I've tried quite a few, but none seem to work for my skin. Leave me a comment with your favourite!

14. Do you want to get married later on in life?
I deffinately want to get married and have a family, but I'm not sure when, it's not up to me, it's up to God ☺

15. Do you get mad easily?
No, but I get upset very easily. I'm hardly ever mad though.

16. Are you into ghost hunting?
No, it's not my thing

17. Any phobias?
Any sharp objects. If you asked me to carry a cooking knife across the kitchen, I'd start hyperventilating.

18. Do you bite your nails?
Nope, never. It's a horrible habbit. Nails don't taste nice, don't eat them.

19. Have you ever had a near death experience?
When I was crossing the road, there was an ambulance coming that I could hear, but it wasn't going the direction of the cars on the road I was crossing, so I assumed it was coming down the road behind, which was going that direction, so when I started crossing the road, I realised the ambulance was coming down the road I was crossing (Since it was an ambulance, it was coming down the road in the wrong direction) so I nearly got ran over. Happy days.

20. Do you drink coffee?
No, I'm a total tea drinker. I usually have up to 5 cups of tea each day. Oopsy.

Hope you enjoyed this! Let me know if you want to see more of these!

What to wear to the beach

Hey style choicers! We all like to look gorgeous when we hit the beach. We like to stand out, in a good way though! I'm going to give you my favourite beach looks!

Brights:
I love neon bikinis. They're so cute! You can pair this with a white sarong or kaftan so that you can see a hint of neon beneath the simple white. Add some simple flip flops and a cute straw tote with a big straw hat. This look is simple, so you don't take away from the brightness of the bikini, but it's also my favourite out of these looks for the beach, and it's what I'll be wearing this year!
£24 from Asos.com (By River Island)

Classic:
Crisp whites are so classy, and lots of people have been sporting the full white look, so go for a cute white bikini with little details like bows or ruffles, and add a white cover-up. Wear this with some metallic sandals and a cute straw hat. Try and add little simple coloured details.
£25 from Asos.com (By Asos)

Fun prints:
Anything from floral to spots to stripes, printed bikini's are adorable. They should be paired with a simple sarong some flip flops in a colour that complements the bikini, a cute tote, and some cat-eye or panda style sunglasses.
£16 from Asos.com (By Oasis)

Boho:
Boho style is adorable for taking a walk on the beach or having a beach BBQ. It's such an effortless look. You should wear a simple bikini with a long sleeved kaftan, some sandals, and an adorable little fedora. Tousle your hair and keep your makeup natural and cute!
£15 from boohoo.com

Hope you enjoyed this post. This was one of my favourites to write, I love summer! I hope you do as much as I do. Enjoy your week guys!

Your summer shoe collection

Hey style choicers! We all love to slip on our flip flops or sandals at the beginning of summer. It just gets you in the mood of the season, right? But we don't all have enough money for Sam Edelman and Steve Madden, so I'm going to talk to you about my top 5 summer shoes and give you some cheap alternatives to the designers!

5. Some neon pumps
Whether they're flats or heels, neon pumps are really in at the moment. I absalutely love them! They're perfect to wear with your coloured denim capris, or with some denim shorts and a baggy white tshirt. They're the perfect addition to your summer shoe collection, and can be dressed up or down.
On sale for £14.98 at Aldo.com!

4. Lace-up shoe bots
Ok, boots are deffinately for winter, but the lace up shoe boots, have such an edgy feel, that they look absalutely gorgeous paired with a flowy, girly dress. Pair them with a maxi dress to dress them up, and with a cute sundress or girly skirt for a more casual but still adorable summer look. The heel height is ridiculous, but they're so comfortable to walk in because of the large platform and the thick heel. They're more comfortable than a 4 inch heel!

£35 from boohoo.com

3. A pair of simple sandals
We all love our beaded and decorated sandals, but it's important to have a pair of sandals in brown, black or white. You can pair them with almost any outfit, and you'll find you can't stop wearing them! You can get them in so many styles and prices, and they're absalutely perfect for anybody.
On sale for £6.49 at H&M!

2. A pair of summer wedges
I talked about these in my last post, so I won't go into too much detail, but they're perfect for when you want to dress up a pair of jeans or shorts, or add some comfortable summery heels to your dress, or wear them with a skirt for an adorable look! Pretty much all of your summer outfits will go great with your wedges! They're absalutely essential!
On sale for £12.49 at H&M!

1. A pair of flip flops
Ok, this ones obvious. Who can survive summer without their flip flops? The most comfortable, summery, adorable shoes for the summer. Whats a beach day without flip flops? They're so cheap, yet so perfect. You're crazy if you don't have a pair of adorable flip flops for the summer!
On sale for £1.99 at H&M!

My Summersentials

Hey style choicers! You may notice I put up a new poll for your summersentials, and I love polls, because anybody can answer them, and I can get a feel of what the people reading my blog are like, so just click 2 buttons and let me know your summersential! I wanted to make this topic to tell you my summersentials. I cheated a bit because I couldn't pick one, so I'm going to include a couple different ones, but they're all included in the poll, so you can read my post and then pick YOUR summersential.

Coloured denim capris-
I love these, they're so cute and summery! I have a pair in mint green and they're absalutely amazing. I'm also looking into buying some in lemon yellow, because I have so much fun pairing them with simple white tops and colourblocking accesories. They're a fun piece to own, and you can't help but have a smile on your face when you're wearing them. I suggest rolling them up once or twice, and pairing them with flip flops, loafers, boat shoes, or ballet flats, along with a loose white tshirt and a necklace or bag in a contrasting colour to the jeans. Mint green looks amazing with hot pink accessories, lemon yellow goes great with purple, pink jeans would go great with neon yellow accesories, and basically, just any colours that you wouldn't expect to go together.
£18 from boohoo.com (Great price!)

A neon crossbody bag-
Neon is very 'in' at the moment, and a cute little bag is the perfect way to add neon to your outfit. The most popular kind is the Rebecca Minkoff bag, but we don't all have that kind of money, so recently, other cheaper brands have been making adorable little neon bags. I haven't been lucky enough to get my hands on one yet, but I'm dying to! They're an amazing piece to own, and I recommend checking out boohoo.com, New Look, H&M, Forever 21, and other cheap shops and online stores!

A pair of summer wedges-
I love my wedges. I could wear them anywhere. To the shop down the road, to a date, to going out with friends, I just love them, and I feel like I can style them in any way I want and they'll still look great! They're so comfortable, and go with practically anything. They're perfect for the summer, and you can find wedges to suit people of all different styles. My wedges are my best shoe purchase of the year so far!
£35 from Dorothy Perkins

Thats all from my summersentials. Hope you enjoyed this post, and remember to let me know YOUR summersential! If you have any other things you'd like to add to the poll, just leave me a comment and I'll ad your summersential to the list.

Thanks for reading! ☺
