Did you make it this far? Well done haha
I hope you enjoyed this post. It was pretty long and hard to write, but I did it for you guys. I want to give a big thanks to all of the people who've supported me and helped me come this far with my blog. I never thought I'd be able to keep a blog that people would want to read. It hasn't been going for too long, but I'm so glad it's lasted as long as it has!

15 Weird Questions

Hey style choicers! I decided to do something different today, and since I was thinking of starting a more personal blog, so I wanted you to get a jist of what it would be like. This is a youtube tag but I decided I'd be able to do this myself.

1. What is a nickname only your family calls you?
Well my name is Kaeli, which rhymes with ukelele, so my dad has a habit of calling me Kaeli Ukelele, I know, that's a little weird haha.

2. Whats a weird habit of yours?
I have a habit of waking up really early in the morning, even on weekends. On a Saturday, I'll still wake up at 7:00am. A lot of people call me crazy for this. I call myself an early bird ☺

3. Do you have any weird phobias?
I have ALOT of phobias. I have a phobia of sharp objects, I have a phobia of wrists, I have a phobia of blood, and I have a phobia of vanes. I don't have problems with bugs or heights or anything like that, but I do have problems with those things. The weirdest is probably wrists. If someones wrist is showing, I can't look at them.

4. Whats a song you secretly love to blast and belt when you're at home?
I've got to say, I LOVE belting No One Mourns The Wicked from Wicked. I do alot of singing, and I recently found that I was able to hit the big notes in that song, so to be honest, whenever I'm home alone, I have a habit of putting that song on and belting out the big dramatic notes in it.

5. Whats one of your biggest pet peeves?
I hate when people are obvious liars. When you know they're not telling the truth, but they're not going to admit it, that really gets on my last nerve. I feel like things would just be easier if they could just tell me the truth.

6. Whats one of your nervous habits?
When I get nervous, I go very hyper. I do alot of performances, and before I go on stage, I tend to have a bit of a hyper-active burst of energy. I go all giggly about things that aren't funny etc. I'm not quite sure why, but I can't help it.

7. What side of the bed to you sleep on?
I can't fall asleep unless up against the wall. I'm not quite sure why, but I'm always right up on the edge of my bed against the wall.

8. Whats your first stuffed animal and it's name?
I had a couple that I got when I was first born, but my favourite out of the ones I got as birth presents is a little white cat soft toy that I called Snowy. I still have her, but she's not quite 'snow' coloured anymore...

9. Whats the drink you always order at starbucks?
I love the peppermint hot chocolate at christmas, but when it's not christmas, I tend to go to cheaper coffee shops and order hot chocolate.

10. Whats the beauty rule you preach but never actually practice?
Drinking lots of water. It's great for you, but I don't like the way water tastes at all. I know it's stupid, but I hate the fact that it just doesn't taste of anything. I do like flavoured water, but I'm seriously bad when it comes to drinking water.

11. Which way do you face in the shower?
This is a little bit strange, but I tend to face diagonally, so that I'm facing the corner away from the shower head. There's no real reasoning to that.

12. Do you have any weird body skills?
I can do a back bend, and I can lie on my stomach and touch my feet to my head. I'm a contortionist with 2 moves haha.

13. Whats your favourite comfort food/ food thats bad but you love to eat it anyways?
I've got to say, I'm a big fan of chocolate. I don't know how I'd manage without chocolate.

14. Whats a phrase or exclamation you always say?
I have a habit of saying 'What the flip?!' because I don't swear, so that tends to be my alternative.

15. Time to sleep- what are you ACTUALLY wearing?
I tend to wear a tshirt with some shorts. I find this pretty comfortable.

I hope you enjoyed this post. It's a little different, but I hope you enjoyed finding out how weird I really am!

Help to improve this blog! ☺

Hey style choicers! This is just my post to remind you of things which will help to make this blog more enjoyable to read and help you become more involved in this blog. It's not my blog alone, because if nobody read it, I wouldn't keep posting on it!

  • Remember to email in requests! I want to write about things that you want to know about, and I know sometimes you don't like the idea of emailing someone you don't know, but your email address won't be revealed to anybody, and I'll simple write the post in reply. You can email about anything to do with fashion, OR you can email about something more personal. If you don't want my reply to be featured on the blog, just mention that and I'll just reply to the email personally. Our email: stylechoice101@gmail.com
  • I'm thinking of starting a second blog. Do you think this would be a clever idea? I don't want to make a blog for something that you aren't interested in though, so I've created a poll at the right hand side for you to answer what you would like the blog to be about, OR whether you'd rather see me expand this blog with competitions etc. If you DO want me to start a new blog, leave me a comment with any blog name ideas!
  • I'm thinking of starting a new series. Whether it's one that for one week I post something for that series every day, or over a month, I love making new series'. What kind of series would you like to see? It can be fashion, beauty, decor, or anything random. Either send me an email or leave me a comment with what you would like to see!
  • How else would you like to contact me? Sometimes, comments on blogger and an email isn't enough because some people either don't have or don't want to use those 2 things, but I need ideas of how I can get in contact with you guys! If someone could please just email me or leave a comment (if you can) of how you think I should get in contact with you guys, please let me know!

Effie Trinket inspired outfit! (The Hunger Games)

Hey style choicers! I've been to the movies to watch The Hunger Games twice in one month. I know. Weird. I loved the movie the first time, so I went to see it again! I realised that even though Effie's not meant to be a character you fall in love with, but I fell in love with her outfits! I get so excited when I see original styles, just think about how much work went into designing her overall look! Obviously nobody is going to walk around with a big pink wig on and white makeup, but we want to put across the same feel of colourful sophistication!

Spring Fashion Haul!

Hey guys! I'm sorry for the lack of posts for the last few days, I've been super busy, and yesterday, I was super busy shopping... All day. I'm  a bit of a shopoholic if I'm honest, and it shows when you put me in a mall with up to £250 to spend. Obviously I didn't spend it all, but if I had more time, I deffinately would have.

Forever 21-

The first thing I got, I'm not able to find it on the website, but it was a bright orange loose crop top with lace inserts on the shoulders. I bought it because it's just a simple piece thats easy to wear. You simply just throw it on over some shorts and add some sandals, maybe a few accessories, and you've got an effortless but adorable outfit!

This picture really doesn't do the shirt any justice. I couldn't find the right colour online, but mine is a bright turquoise colour instead of a cobalt blue. Also, mine is a little oversized on me because the lack of clothes coming in my size in Forever 21, so on me (And I think it looks nicer this way) the sleeves hit below my elbows, which make it a little less safari and I little more Spring. I paired this in an outfit with the shorts coming later on in the haul!

I fell in love with this fedora as soon as I saw it. The only difference for this piece is that the  ribbon is polka dotted instead of the stripes. It's so cute, and I can just imagine wearing it with some adorable shorts and being safe from the sun, but also, looking so cute! These sorts of hats do suit me because I have a full fringe, which makes the hat look more laid back and fun.

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'd know that I've been searching for a brown bag. I was looking for a nice more expensive bag, but then I realised that I didn't need a big fancy bag, because all I really need is my purse and my phone most of the time, so when I found this (mine is extremely similar to this one except it has braiding detail around the side and no zip on the front, but they're both from Forever 21) I was very happy. It's the perfect size, colour, material, and it feels very good quality for around £13! I'm so happy with this purchase!

I am absalutely in love with this ring. It's so adorable! When I look at it, I just instantly think of summer, don't you? The combination of colours is absalutely genius, and honestly? This is the one thing I bought that I didn't think to go through my rules of: Only get it if you know exactly what to wear it with.

H&M-
(Shorts) I've been looking for some white shorts that can be dressed up or down. I wasn't very sceptical going into H&M, because I thought they'd only have casual shorts, and none like the ones I found. They're linen blend, so they're extremely soft and comfortable, and they have a very sophisticated edge to them, which I like. These shorts look amazing with my new Forever 21 tops, and they also look adorable with my fedora! They are great quality, even though they were only £15!

I couldn't find a picture from the H&M website, but these are another version of what I got. I got a pack of 6 earrings. 3 sets of pearl studs (Black, dark pink, pale pink) and three sets of feather earrings (Same colours) for £4! The colours were beautiful, and I was so happy about the price for 6 pairs of earrings. I love feather earrings. They have a certain boho edge to them, which I love.

Claires-

I'll be the first to admit, claires isn't exactly the most stylish store, but I was just casually looking around, when I saw this purse, and I fell in love with it! The subtle floral print on the front, the colour, the fabric, and the design. It's sophisticated with a hint of cute and fun style to it. It fits perfectly into my new bag, and is extremely practical. There's lots of room for change (And I mean ALOT of room) and loads of slots for cards. It's great! And it was £12 from claires! It shows you don't need to spend alot to buy nice, good quality products!

Republic-
I walked into Republic not expecting to find much. I thought I would just see a couple things that were just ok but too expensive, but when I looked around, I found this beautiful skirt. It's absalutely stunning, and if you have the same eye for fashion as I do, you'll agree. It's absalutely stunning, and probably my favourite purchase of the day. I can just imagine pairing it with a navy tank top, some nude heels, a dark brown belt, and my feather earrings for going out to dinner or something. I'm totally in love with this skirt, and it's amazing quality!

So thats the end of my haul. Did you enjoy it?
