Christmas party :D

Christmas Gift Guide: For Family (Male)

Hey Style Choicers! I've got my second gift guide today, and this one is for family. In this blog post I'll be giving you ideas for what to give you're dad/brother and mom/sister. A lot of the time, it can be super super hard to know what to get youre family, because it's hard to know how much to spend and it's hard to think that you want to get them something nice, but that you know they'll use aswell. I love picking out gifts for my family because I love to be creative and do something they'd never expect. If you want to read how I pick the presents I want to get for people and some tips on deciding, take a look at my Christmas Gift Guide: For Friends blog post. I've explained in detail how to ensure that what you get people means a lot to them and will make them happy while staying in budget.

What to get your dad or brother (Or any male family member):
Sometimes, it can get really difficult for a girl to pick out what their dad or brother might want, and I've always had the same issue when buying for my dad. There are large variations on what kind of things he might like, but I'm hoping that you find at least one of these three things helpful. I've gone for three completely different things, so I'm hoping that they're cover different types of people. If not, some of my present ideas for friends could double up as an idea for a male family member.

  • A video game kit
Most men like video games (Some girls like them as well, but I've got to say, most guys I know are obsessed with them) and I bet your brother (or maybe dad/cousin/any family member) would love it if you put together a little kit of 1-4 video games with some yummy candy and a game controller. You can make lots of variations, but just put together a bunch of video game related little goodies and put them in a little box. I can't even begin to imagine a gamer's face when they open a present like that.

  • A sport hamper
Another stereotype... sorry haha. Most boys love sports, and a lot would LOVE it if you put together some sporty things for a sport and team that they love. This could include a calender, a poster, a hat, a t-shirt, or any other sports team merchandise. Make sure you only theme the present around one team, otherwise it seems like you just threw together a bunch of random sporty things and put it all in a box and wrap it in a big bow.

  • A few good books
Everyone loves books... well.... most people. It would be a great present for a book worm if you got them a couple books that they'd really like. You could also add a few other little things like a relaxing CD or something. This is the kind of present for someone who loves to relax with a good book in the evenings.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post! I'll try to put up the female version ASAP!

Christmas gift guide: For friends

Hey style choicers! I always love picking out presents for my best friends and I'm deffinately more of a present giver than reciever, because I love being creative. I wanted to share my top 3 tips on how to decide what kind of present to give, and then I'll be showing you 5 ideas to get for your friends. Read on and I hope you get some really great ideas!

Top tips for how to pick out a present for a friend:
  • Think of a private joke or something they 'famously' love. If you think of a funny memory/private joke, such as saying they LOVE a singer that they actually HATE, get them something to do with that, like a poster or a cd. Also, a lot of people have something between their friends that they're famous for loving, like, as a personal example, one of my friends is Welsh, so she famously loves anything to do with sheep (Yeah... I have some strange jokes with my friends...) so I would get her something sheep related. Sometimes, people avoid funny gifts because they worry that it won't be as funny as they'd hoped, but if you pick a private joke within your friends, it's bound to make them really happy!
  • Listen carefully. A lot of the time, someone will just say a little comment of something they wish they had or something they love, without realising that anyone would pick up on it, so the best gift buyers will try really hard to pick out those things they say. For example, if you were talking about movies and they commented saying their favourite movie, but said they haven't gotten it since it's come out the movies, then you have to write it down somewhere when they don't realise, and they would be overjoyed to see you'd gotten it for them.
  • Be creative. Even the least crafty people, you can be creative and create/alter a simple gift. This makes it more personal to the person you're giving it to. It can be anything from gluing a sparkly bow to a plain white photo frame to knitting your friend a cute little scarf. You can also do something a little less practical and order a personalised gift online.
You might not be able to follow all three of these tips, but hopefully you can be able to apply at least one to your present buying.

Ideas of presents for a friend:
  • A stocking:
I did this last year, where I got little stockings for all my friends (They don't have to be expensive. I got some super cheap ones from a craft store) and filled each stocking with some of their favourite little things. This is a really fun gift method if you want to do something a little bit fun and different, and your friends will really appreciate that! (I got things in packs of how many people I was buying for and put one of each thing in each stocking so that I wasn't spending an outragous amount of money. This present is a bit more pricey if you're buying for a lot more people, but it's good if you're only buying for between 3-6 people.)

  • A personalised christmas ornament:
There are lots of different websites where you can guy christmas tree ornaments that have a name and a year on them, and I love this idea! It's a gift that they'll treasure for lots of years to come, and I know that opening a present like that would make me extremely happy, and I'm sure your friends would think the same. It's sentimental, but can also be fun and cute at the same time. You could give this gift with some sweets or chocolates aswell to make it a bit more special. I found personalised ornaments on http://shopglitzyglam.com/ and they're all under £10! Amazing!

  • A gift card to the cinema:
Obviously this is a present for the movie lovers, so get this for someone who is always going to watch the newest movies coming out. Put however much you want to spend on that person on the gift card, and it's also fun to make a movie kit to go with it. To do this, get a present bag, and put in a back of unpopped popcorn, some movie snacks, a copy of their favourite movie, and then the gift card. This way, they've got a really cute themed gift. This gift is pretty pricey, so you'd want to give this to someone you're really close to. Any movie watcher would die over this gift!

  • A pampering kit
This is a present for those friends who always love to look nice. All you need to do is get a shoe box or just any medium sized box, and fill it with face masks, nail polish, skin care products, makeup/makeup brushes, a hairbrush, shampoo, bodywash, etc. Just fill it with a bunch of beauty related things that they'd love. This present would make them happy for months to come. It's a gift for a girly girl, and if you give it to someone who likes to pamper themselves, they'll fall in love with it. This gift can range in price from £10 all the way to £100 depending on how much you want to spend on the products and how many things you want to put in there.

  • A music kit
This is the gift for the people who love to listen to music. All you need is a gift bag, and fill it with an itunes giftcard or a giftcard to any music shop. Then, add a cd or two, and a pair of headphones. You could also add some merchandise of one of their favourite singers or bands, but this is only if you're looking to spend a bit more money. This gift can be as cheap as £10 if you're buying for a friend that you're not too close too. The things you include are pretty flexible, but it's really fun to just make a little kit of lots of fun little music things and any music lover will love this gift.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post. It was a little long, but I hope it gave you a good idea of what you want to give to your friends this christmas!

Comfy, cosy, chic

I've missed you guys!

Hey style choicers! (Man, I miss saying that!) So I decided to take a break from blogging to de-stress, because I felt like my writing was becoming worse and worse. I started running out of ideas and I kept going weeks without blogging, because it started to feel like a chore trying to come up with an idea, and then having to do all the research, and then finding all the pictures etc etc etc. I decided I would take a break from my blog until Christmas time, because before my break, I was going through a really difficult time emotionally (Comment or email if you want me to talk about how I dealt with my emotions) and I wanted to wait until I felt stronger. I really missed blogging, because it gave me an outlet to express my style, and I loved that! So now, it's Christmas time (Which is SO exciting!) and I have lots of new fresh ideas to write about. I really want to try to expand the number of people who read my blog, so I'd love it if you could, tweet, blog, facebook, whatever works for you. I'm thinking of starting an Instagram so I can give you lots of outfits of the day, but comment below or email if you want to see that. I love you guys so much and I'm so excited to be back. Do you guys want to see a Christmas makeover on the blog like I had last year? Let me know about that!

Give yourself the PERFECT morning

Hey style choicers! I've realised it's been a really long time since I did a fun, non-fashion related post, so I figured today was the day! It's a Saturday today and I decided I wanted to talk about how to give yourself a perfect, relaxed morning, EVEN if you're planning to get ready and go out!

  • As soon as you wake up, put on a pair of fuzzy slippers and a robe. Now that we're diving deep into fall season, you have an excuse to bundle up and get comfy!
  • Make your favourite breakfast, and have a nice cup of tea/coffee. I like to go for Chai Tea, and if possible, I love myself a good Chai Tea Latte. If you don't know what it is, it's a gorgeous spicey tea. It makes me feel so cozy!
  •  If you're getting ready to go out, wake up earlier than you need to so you don't have to rush around all morning. Put on some relaxing music, and put on a comfy (but appropriate for where you're going) outfit, and let yourself enjoy the extra time you've given yourself.

Today's post was short, I know, but I thought it would be cute to do posts like these every so often. Tell me if you like them!

Fall Fashion Haul!

Hey Style Choicers! I know it's been a while, if you hadn't guessed from my last post, I've been in a reallt difficult place emotionally and I wanted to let myself recover before I jumped straight back in, but I promise you guys, from now on, it'll be one or two (and if you're lucky, even more) posts per week. Yesterday, I have to admit, I did a little bit of therapy shopping for the fall time. I didn't tick off all of the items on my list, but I wanted to show you what I did end up getting.

First, we went to New Look, which, in my opinion, is pretty much the best (affordable) store in England. I went in looking for some cute things to wear for the fall and winter and came out with:

Peplum tops are one of the biggest fall trends out there, and I've been seeing them absalutely everywhere. Now I don't just buy things because they're in fashion, but I saw this and thought it was so muted, but so gorgeous. I put it on and it made my waist look to die for! I wore it last night by pairing it with a thin red waist belt, a pair of light wash skinny jeans, some black patent ballet flats, and a hair accessory which will be featured in a little bit. (£16.99)

I love these things. They're so comfortable, and I just wish I had a big blanket made out of this material. I realised I didn't have a good scarf for the winter, so since this wasn't expensive, I bought this. I figured it would look adorable if I'm wearing an outfit made up of white and pastels, just to add some dimension. (£7.99)

I was lacking a good, comfy pair of slippers, and when I saw these, I absalutely fell in love. They're the cutest little things I've ever seen, and I just could not stop myself from getting them! They're the comfiest little things ever, and ever since I've got them, I haven't wanted to take them off. They make me feel like everything from Poccahontis to a little old lady and I just love them! (£9.99)

I've always loved big hair bows, and when I saw this, I absalutely fell it love with it. It's bigger than you think, and looks so cute it you use it to clip back two small sections of your hair at the back. I felt like mini mouse wearing this yesterday with the outfit I mentioned earlier! (£2.99)

Also, I got a brown donut bun shaper for £2.99 but I figured thats pretty self explanatory. After I finished doing damage in New Look, I took a trip down to H&M to do some MORE damage. I only bought a couple things here, because I didn't want to go absalutely broke.

I went into H&M knowing that (from looking in the H&M magazine) they had gorgeous knitwear. I walked into the store and straight away saw this. Doesn't it just look so cozy? I bought it in a size too big, because I tend to like my jumpers baggy. It took me a long time to decide between the mint green and the coral, but then I ended up going with the mint, because it's quite different for me. The majority of my clothes are pink, but I'm trying to start being a little more adventurous. (£19.99)

This isn't the exact cardigan I got, but I can't find the one I have on the website. (This one is for £24.99.) My cardigan is similar to this, but it's a light cream colour and has big brown wooden buttons. I love big cardigans like this, because they just make your outfit so much warmer. I can just imagine wearing this, drinking hot chocolate, watching Christmas movies... 87 days until Christmas. Anyway, back to the point, it's comfy and I can't wait to wear it in winter! (£19.99)

That's all I got for the moment. Let me know if you want more hauls!

So I might be getting a bunny rabbit pretty soon, and I need to decide on a name! If you have any ideas, leave me a comment or send me an email.

Thanks for reading! ☺

Dealing with heartbreak

Hey style choicers. I've been quite absent for the past week, and if I'm honest, it's because I've been dealing with a rough break up. Most of us girls have gone through the feeling, and if not, well you're just lucky then. It's a feeling of being unwanted, wondering if you weren't pretty enough, funny enough, sweet enough, whatever it is that makes you feel rough, it's not true. Your mind convinces you that the reason he broke up with you was because you weren't good enough. That's totally the wrong way to think about it, because why else would he go out with you in the first place? You've got to realise that he's just not right for you. It's nothing to do with the way you look or act the majority of the time. It's tough, it really is. I honestly miss my boyfriend like crazy, but it's just life I'm afraid. Heartbreaks are what make finding the right one for you so much better. I recommend not going out and dating anyone under the sun, because this'll only make it worse for you. Every time you go out with someone, you're letting them into your heart. It shouldn't just be for the heck of it. After a break-up, I recommend boy detox. I've started boy detox, which means I'm not going to date anybody for 6 months at the least, and even when I do, I'm going to make sure I trust them with my heart. This hasn't been easy for me to write, because I'm still struggling. I dated the same person for the last 5 months, and I honestly wasn't expecting him to break my heart anytime soon. Never take love for granted.

Thanks for reading, I love you all xxx

Back-2-School: The mindset

Hey style choicers! So we've all got the outfits, the makeup, and the supplies all set for starting school, but so we have the mindset? Are you ready to take back on the crazy world that we call school?

School can be very very hard. It can be challenging, not only in the classroom, but with friends, other girls, other guys, many many things make school seem like the worst thing on Earth at the time. What you need to realise is that you are so blessed to go to school. The amount of people who've never gone to school before is shocking, especially when you realise that most of those children can't even read and write. You need to realise that there are bigger issues in life than the teacher who talks for a full hour, or the girl who said you weren't pretty. Life has ups and downs, and trust me, you'll make it out alive. Remind yourself that once you finish school, you will be so glad if you tried your best, because then you can get in an amazing university, and move on to an amazing career that you love. Isn't that how you want to spend your future?

I know this post was a little more personal, but leave me a comment if you like posts like this!

Back-2-School: Supplies

Hey style choicers! Sometimes, buying the right school supplies can be tricky, because sometimes, it's hard to tell what you do and don't need. English school and American school are very different, but I've tried to pick supplies that would be useful for all types of schooling.

  • Lots of pens. Usually, black pens are the most useful, so have about three of them. Also, red and green pens can be used for marking your work, so it's good to have one of at least one of those. You never want to be left without a pen to use. This can get you into big trouble, so make sure you've got back-ups!
  • A couple pencils. If you're going to be drawing graphs or doing art, you're going to need a few pencils to use. Make sure you always have extra, just in case!
  • A rubber (Aka eraser.) This will be helpful so you don't have to call a teacher everytime you need to rub something out. If you have your own, you don't need to borrow other peoples, which will save you a lot of time.
  • A sharpener. Make sure you're prepared. If your pencil breaks, and you've lent your back-up to someone else, this is going to come in handy.
  • A scientific calculator. Once you're in the higher school years, you're going to need  one of these. It's used in both math and science. You're going to need it on tests, and most of the time, they aren't aloud to lend you scientific calculators for tests, so you need to have one with you.
  • Highlighters. These are useful if you're doing a book study, a poem study, or anything that needs anylising. I find my highlighters ALWAYS run out halfway through the year and I need to buy more, because I use them so often for the work.
  • Ring-binders. Folders are so useful when you've got lots of worksheets that are useful for revising, or if you're doing a project that requires alot of paper. It's easy to use because you just slot the paper into the poly pocket and put it inside the folder. This means that everything is sorted together. You can keep it at home, which would probably be easier, but if you were required to take it to school for marking, it's easy to take to school aswell.

Thats the basics of school supplies that I always make sure I have, but you probably will have to make slight alterations to this depending on how your school works.

Back-2-School: Makeup

Hey style choicers! It's hard to know the right kind of makeup to school. Everything seems either too much or too little, and you get both extremes. I think it's best to lean towards less makeup, but still wear enough to be comfortable. I'm going to show you my makeup look that I think is perfect for school.

  1. Apply concealer to spots and dark under-eye circles.
  2. Apply matte powder to  your nose, forehead and chin.
  3. Suck in your cheeks and apply blush to your cheekbones. (Make sure it's a natural colour)
  4. Add (clear?) mascara and/or brown eyeliner.

I know this makeup look is alot more natural than lots of people go for, so obviously lots of people wouldn't want to follow this, but the danger of wearing lots of makeup at a young age is underage wrinkles. Plus, piling on too much makeup results in more spots, so yes, my steps are flexible, but don't wear TOO much makeup at a young age.

This was a short post, but I'll have a longer post up soon about back-2-school supplies.

Back-2-School: Accessorize your uniform

Hey style choicers! Today I wanted to talk about styling your uniform. It's tricky because there are so many boundaries, but there are small ways to stop yourself from looking completely like a clone. If you don't have a uniform, feel free to read this anyway for tips on how to add cute accents to boring outfits.

1. Add cute earrings. Most schools don't let you wear anything other than studs, but you can get some gorgeous little studs that reflect your style perfectly. You can get fun little ones from Forever 21, or you can get more expensive ones, but not too expensive, because you never know when a stud can go missing.
£3.15 from Forever 21

2. Use a school bag which expresses your style. For some schools, you can have pretty much anything for your school bag, and for others, it's very limited, but try to find a school bag which shows off the kind of things you like. Make sure it's still practical though, to fit in books, supplies, and anything else you need. You can find school bags all over the place, just look for any bag that can fit A4 paper and you're garunteed to find something your style!
£55 from Asos.com (By Asos)

3. Pick some fun shoes. I've always loved looking for school schoes. The limitations are usually colour, fabric and style. The best options are usually black (faux) leather ballet flats, brogues and loafers. You can usually find some with cute little accents, like bows, zips or studs, and you can usually follow some trends with them. I love the shoes from New Look, Forever 21, and Asos.
£13.75 from Forever 21

4. Accessorize with your hair! Most of the time, the limiations on hair styles are quite limited, so you can style your hair in a way that makes you feel like yourself! Hair is a great way to show style, whether it's boho, girly, urban, rocker, whatever your style, there's always a hairstyle to match! You can add bows, hairbands, flowers, whatever you want to give your hair some extra style!

So those were 4 tips on how to stay chic in uniform! Hope you liked this, because the style of this post was a little different. Remember to vote on the new poll, these determine the kind of posts I do, and plus, I love knowing about YOU!

Back-2-School: Finding the right outfits (Non-uniform)

Hey style choicers! I figured that since it's that time of year, I should do a few back to school posts on everything from finding the right outfits, to buying the right equipment. Now I live in England, where there are school uniforms, but I figured I can do one post on styling if you  haven't got a uniform, and another post on how to accessorize your uniform if you have one.

If you're lucky enough to not have a uniform, it's still important that you dress appropriately for school. Most schools have simple rules like you can't show your shoulders or too much of your leg, so I've got 5 tips, and then I've put together an outfit for inspiration! ☺

Top tips:
1. Stick to the basics. When you go shopping for school clothes, by a bunch of simple things that can be worn with a bunch of different things. This should include: Bright coloured tshirts/tank tops, black leggings/treggings, skinny jeans (Make sure they're comfortable and in a colour thats wearable for lots of different outfits), etc.

2. Buy cute flats. Most of the time, you're not going to feel like wearing heels to school, so if you buy lots of adorable flats, boots, sneakers, etc, then you'll have no problem going without a heel everyday!

3. Try not to spend loads of money on current trends. If you blow all your school-clothes-buying money on the latest trend, you'll wear it a few times in the school year and then you'll never wear it again, so if you want to be trendy, invest in classic trends that never go out of style.

4. Explore different looks. Use old pieces that you never wear to try out different styles. If you have that old childish skirt your grandma got you, wear it with a tank top, a leather jacket, and lace up boots. It's as simple as that. There are more ways to pair something than you think when you get given something you may not like, or you buy something that you regret buying. Just be daring!

5. Tights are you're new best friend. You don't have to pack away all your shorts, skirts and dresses for the fall. To wear a summer dress/skirt into the fall, all you have to do is add a pair of tights and a cardi/jacket.

This is my boho back to school look. I love this because it's so effortless and it would be adorable with natural looking wavy hair and simple makeup. I made this on my polyvore, and I'll be doing a different style B-2-S look every day for the next few days, so if you liked this one and want to see some more, there's always a link to my polyvore below.

Commitments

Hey style choicers! I want to talk about something a bit more serious, and thats making commitments. Lately, I've been really challenging myself on commitments. I kept saying to myself: "Ok, I need to write on Style Choice now!" and then I'd stare at the empty screen wondering what to write. Also, I'm in a relationship now where I feel like I need to be mature and committed. You may think thats obvious, but to be commited in a relationship is difficult. It's easy to find yourself making mistakes, like dishonesty or distrust. This is a personal thing, but I feel like every girl needs to know that if you love who you're in a relationship with, to be truthful, trustworthy and avoid jelousy, it can be hard, but you'll try your best to stay away from those things, because you don't want to let a relationship slip away because of carelessness. Another commitment is work. Whether it's for a job or for school, you need to be committed. It will pay off, even though it seems hard at the time! Basically, the point of this post is that I want to help all girls to realise that laziness and apathy are traits that should be gotten rid of, because they set you up for failure. Be committed in all that you do and you will live a life full of successes and happiness.

I'm back! (+haul)

Hey style choicers! If you read my last blog post (two weeks ago!) you'd know that I've been on vacation to my birthplace in New Jersey. I love going to New Jersey to see my family and friends and to enjoy the sun in comparison to Britain, but another one of my favourite things to do there is shop. I know, so unpredictable for a fashion blogger, right? I am quite a bargain hunter, and I am not a fan of spending a fortune on a piece which might go out of fashion within a couple months, so when I was in New Jersey, I made sure I stayed within a budget. That's not saying I didn't do a bit of damage. I did. I want to share with you a few of my favourite buys. I went everywhere from Kohls to the Hard Rock Cafe to find some things I loved.

Kohls-

By HS (HeartSoul) for $21.49
This was a great deal. This beautiful top was 50% off, and honestly, I would've paid a full $42 for this top. This stunning silky top is an amazing addition to my wardrobe. It's the perfect top for dinner out or it'd be amazing to wear to a party with a coral bodycon skirt. I don't own anything like it. You have to make sure you pair it with a tight bottom, because it's very loose fitting.

By Chaps for $21.80
I know, can you believe it? I got an absalutely stunning Chaps bag for just over $20! Isn't that crazy?! It was originally $109 but was on sale for 80% off and I couldn't pass that offer up. It's such good quality, and it's simply breathtaking. It's the most beautiful bag I've seen in a while, most certainly the most beautiful bag I own.

By Candie's for $29.99
These were originally $59.99, and I love Candie's clothes, but I wouldn't have payed $60 for them! I fell in love with these boots the moment I saw them, and I loved them more the moment I tried them on! They have a certain country feel to them, and I loved the idea of wearing them in summer (With a cute little skater skirt and fun t-shirt) but then transerring them into colder months (With skinny jeans or jeggings with a tank top and cardi.)

I went to plenty of other stores but those are by far my best deals. Especially the bag! If you want to see the rest of the things I bought, leave me a comment or send me an email!

Packing tips

Hey style choicers! I'm going on holiday soon, back home to NJ to visit my friends and family. I'm so excited, so I decided to do a couple holiday videos on packing, what to wear, beach tips, etc etc. I've been going abroad since I was a little kid, so I'm pretty good at packing (If I do say so myself.) I've picked up some pretty useful tips over the years.

  • Make a packing list. You never want to get to your destination and realise you forgot something, so keep a packing list so that everytime you go abroad, you know what to bring. You'll probably need to add or take away things each time because each holiday will be a little bit different, but then, you're not in danger of forgetting something important.

  • Bring lightweight clothes. It's important to remember that you have to stay under a certain weight if you want to avoid having to pay lots of money. If you need to bring thick clothes, try not to bring too many clothes, to avoid having a heavy AND stuffed suitcase.

  •  Don't put anything too valuble in your suitcase. Sometimes, things in suitcases can get stolen, and you don't want to put a laptop in there and find it stolen when you get your suitcase back. Bring your valubles in your hand luggage, because this way, they can't get stolen.

  •  If you're planning to do some shopping, bring less outfits than days you'll be there. You're going to want to wear the new clothes you bought, so take that into consideration when you're packing. You don't want to end up bringing too many clothes so you don't have enough room on the way back!

  •  Only bring essential makeup items. Limit yourself to one makeup bag, because chances are, if you're in the hot summer sun, you aren't going to want to wear buckets of makeup. Bring enough for a natural look in the day, and a more fun look for the night. Don't try to bring enough to make 30 different makeup looks!

  •  Bring versatile clothes. If you bring a couple tops, jeans, shorts etc that can be mixed in different combinations to make more than one outfit, you won't need to pack as much! As a mentioned before, the emptier your suitcase on the way there, the more shopping you can do!

Hope these tips help you when you go abroad! Let me know any other posts you'd like me to do on the theme of holidays before I leave.

Thanks for reading! ☺

The top 3 at the Teen Choice Awards

Hey Style Choicers! This week, I was planning an outfit week, but then I realised it was the week of the Teen Choice Awards, and I didn't want to pass up having a couple special posts devoted to the fashion of the awards. I loved how versatile the styles were this year! There wasn't just one single trend shown throughout the 'pink' carpet, there were several! I was so excited to share with you guys my top 3 outfits of the evening.

#3- Carly Rae Jepsen
Carly Rae Jepsen looked absalutely stunning! She combined fun patterns with fashion basics, and created a fun and original look, which I fell in love with the moment I saw it! She did a great job at mixing personal style, trends, and basics, which can sometimes be hard to do!

#2- Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift looked adorable. She had such a simple outfit, which is what made it so beautiful. She just wore a simple nude dress and heels with a lovely little bag, and she made it work more than most people could! And my favourite part of the outfit was the unexpected cutout in the back of the dress. I saw it just from the front and loved it, but I loved it even more once I saw the back of the dress!

#1- Victoria Justice
I've been really loving asymmetric hemline. I've also been loving high neckline AND I've been loving fun patterns. As you'd expect, when I saw this dress, I got so excited! Seriously, I am dying to own that dress now. She looked absalutely gorgeous, I think you'd agree. Victoria Justice really stood out for me!

Who do YOU think looked the best at the teen choice awards? Do you agree with me, or do you have another favourite?

Look for Less: Jennifer Lawrence

Hey style choicers! I've got another look for less for you guys today. I've been really loving these lately, because celebrity style is so original, because they wear outfits that lots of people wouldnt dare wear, but even if we wanted to, we probably couldn't wear these outfits because they're usually pretty expensive! I found an adorable Jennifer Lawrence look that she wore to the Dior show in Paris, and I wanted to give you an idea of how you could re-wear this look!

This look is very 50's to me, with the extravegant flared skater dress, but she's made it more sophisticated with nude heels and a cute white purse. I'm in love with this look!

Dress-
£55 from Miss Selfridge

Shoes-
£38 from Dorothy Perkins

Bag-
£24 Miss Selfridge

Hope you liked this look for less! I loved finding different pieces that were similar to Jennifer's outfit!

Happy 4th of July!

Hey Style Choicers! So I don't know if you know this, but I'm American and live in England, and spending The 4th Of July in England is not the most fun in the world, because hardly anybody even knows what it is... I've been struggling to feel festive, and it doesn't help that I'm sick at the moment! So, I decided to wish everybody a happy Independance day, because I was hoping this would get me in the mood. I've had to take a day off, so I'm sitting at home today in my American flag jersey, and trying to incorporate red white and blue into everything I do. Hope you guys are having a better Independance day than I am! Hahaha
